Alpha First Medical Academy was founded by a sisters-in-law registered nurse duo who wanted to make a difference in their community. After 30+ years of combined nursing experience, they realized they wanted to have a more profound, positive impact on the health of those around them, and Alpha First Medical Academy was born.
We are a female-owned, BPPE-approved school that is patient-centered, hands-on, and welcoming to all. Our programs are taught by active healthcare professionals who bring real clinical experience into the classroom. We are also affiliated with HeadMaster, allowing students to complete both their written and practical CNA exams on-site at our school.

160 hours of training approved by the California State Board. Taught by Registered Nurses with 30+ years of combined experience. Written and practical exams completed on-site through HeadMaster.
40 hours of training (20 theory / 20 clinicals) approved by the California State Board. Taught by a Registered Nurse with specialized home health and hospice experience.
500 hours of training including a hands-on externship so students can gain real-world experience functioning as a Medical Assistant. Taught by Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants with extensive clinical experience.
Basic Life Support CPR, Heartsaver CPR, and First Aid classes available for healthcare professionals and the general public.
Continuing education courses for Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Home Health Aides. LVN CE pending approval.
Work with a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant to simplify case preparation and bridge the gap between healthcare and the legal system.
