Alpha First Medical Leaders is a female-founded and owned company, with two amazing leaders who speak English, Spanish, and Punjabi/Hindu. Their goal is to make this program a safe place where students can come to pursue a career in helping others.

Founder & Owner

Emily Sahota

Emily has been a registered nurse for almost ten years. She started her career in skilled nursing where she quickly became a manager. She then moved to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital where she worked the float pool which provided for the utmost experience possible. She landed in pediatrics and postpartum and loved it. After having her own child, she needed a change of pace so she opened up a Medical Academy. Emily loves dogs, looking at the clouds in the sky and, of course, her family!

Founder & Owner

Kiran Sahota

Kiran has been a registered nurse for over ten years. She got her Associates Degree in Nursing through the Santa Rosa Junior College and quickly went on to get her Bachelor’s and her Master’s in Nursing Education. Kiran’s career has been focused in skilled nursing where she began as a CNA and is now the Director of Nursing for a post-acute rehabilitation center. Kiran’s love for skilled nursing is very clear. Kiran loves spending time with her family, watching Indian movies and coffee!
